My month of experimentation has past and left me wondering where the days went. It is middle of February and I am trying to remember what I have done. Not much was my initial reaction, but that is not quite truthful come to see.
I have been stitching on my Anna's garden skirt from Alabama Chanin. And I have been knitting on my cardigan. The skirt is far from done, but the cardigan is oh so close...
I have made weekly books (details to come in a later post).
I have made notebooks, almost all of which are already gone from the store. Thank you to all.
I made these bolsters from pecan eco-printed wool and hand dyed linen. They are quite lovely and you can find them here.
I have spent precious time with my youngest son, to celebrate this year of lasts and firsts. Last club soccer game, last youth orchestra concert, first college music audition, first financial aid application… the list continues. I am savoring it all, because there will be no more of that come fall.
And then there was all this snow. Magic and malice in one serving. So I guess this past month was well spent after all. Most importantly it has left me inspired for new work and adventures.
